Boat Rental

At booking you pay the deposit, which holds your date. The balance is paid online right after the deposit. The booking is confirmed once it has been paid.

The balance goes directly to the owner who provides the boat, not to us: two separate payments, both shown on your receipt, which updates itself.

If you book when there is already less than a week to go, the balance is paid straight away, together with the deposit.

The exception is services with a boat reserved exclusively — exclusive use, the Exclusive option and boats of 100 hp and above — where everything is paid at booking: that day the boat comes off the calendar and is yours alone.

Duration 8 hours, return by 17:30 at the latest. In June, July, August and September, departures and returns are organised into time slots, to streamline the service and reduce waiting times. Available slots: 8:15–16:15, 8:30–16:30, 9:00–17:00, from 9:30 onwards (return by 17:30). Based on your assigned departure slot, we'll also suggest a return time to help you avoid queues at the harbour's only fuel station. Let us know your preferred slot when booking.

Fuel excluded from all rates, paid as you go on return. Skipper available on request at € 100.00. Boat fitted with a sun canopy.

Boats up to 40 hp need no boat licence.

Physical ID card of the driver (a digital copy or photo is not valid). Report to the meeting point at departure time, from 8:30 AM: the box number is given in your booking confirmation.

Umbrella & cool bag. Available on request at the box office while stocks last, cannot be booked in advance. Cash deposit: € 20 for both, € 10 for one only. Returned on your way back after inspection.

From 4 July 2026, access to Cala Luna requires an environmental fee of €2.50 per person, payable by card directly at the Cala Luna jetty through OIKOS staff, subject to landing conditions.

Golfo di Orosei Environmental Fee — Mandatory Beach Landing Booking For the other coves in the Golfo di Orosei, if you're driving the boat yourself, you must book beach landings in advance and pay the Environmental Fee. Procedure: go to heartofsardinia.com, select «Gommoni a Noleggio» (Rental Boats), enter the number of people, choose the time and coves to visit, then enter the code you'll be given at check-in in the «Codice Operatore» (Operator Code) field. Payment is made directly through the app. On landing, you'll need to show staff the generated QR Code as proof of booking: without a QR Code, beach access is not permitted.

Booking a beach landing requires a 20% deposit, refundable under 7 days in case of cancellation or unfavourable weather.

An additional cash payment of € 5.50 per person is required at departure as an environmental fee, separate from the online beach-landing booking.

Bue Marino Cave. If you want to stop at the cave, the ticket for the walking tour is not included in the rental: it is bought at the harbour, or you can buy it online.

Free on Via Cala Luna, 5–10 min walk from the harbour (Map). From June to September, discounted parking with free shuttle at Loc. Iscrittiore (Map).

If the trip is called off because of sea conditions, it is moved to another date or the deposit is refunded in full: bad weather is nobody's fault.

If you cancel. Up to three days before we refund the whole deposit, or move the date at no cost. In the last three days, if you let us know, we refund half the deposit or move the date. If you simply do not show up without telling us, the deposit stays with us.

If the balance does not arrive. Two days before departure the place becomes available again: we remind you beforehand, and if something is wrong one message is enough to sort it out.

If we are the ones who cannot provide the service, you choose between a new date and a full refund.
