🌦️ Cancellation policy — Full refund of the deposit if you cancel at least 72 hours in advance. Within 72 hours the deposit is refunded only if the Port Authority suspends departures.

💳 Book with a deposit online — the rest is paid when you pick up the boat, with no advance balance. Boats from 100 hp up are settled at booking instead, because we take them off the calendar for the whole day: the configurator shows every amount before you confirm.

📅 Limited availability for July and August — we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to secure your preferred model.

🪪 No boating licence required — Up to 40hp you can drive it yourself, no licence needed. We'll show you everything at pick-up, in 5 minutes.

How to Book & Useful Info

Departure Times Duration 8 hours, return by 17:30 at the latest. In June, July, August and September, departures and returns are organised into time slots, to streamline the service and reduce waiting times. Available slots: 8:15–16:15, 8:30–16:30, 9:00–17:00, from 9:30 onwards (return by 17:30). Based on your assigned departure slot, we'll also suggest a return time to help you avoid queues at the harbour's only fuel station. Let us know your preferred slot when booking.

Fuel & Skipper Fuel excluded from all rates, paid as you go on return. Skipper available on request at € 100.00. Boat fitted with a sun canopy.

Cala Luna Environmental Fee From 4 July 2026, access to Cala Luna requires an environmental fee of €2.50 per person, payable by card directly at the Cala Luna jetty through OIKOS staff, subject to landing conditions.

Golfo di Orosei Environmental Fee — Mandatory Beach Landing Booking For the other coves in the Golfo di Orosei, if you're driving the boat yourself, you must book beach landings in advance and pay the Environmental Fee. Procedure: go to heartofsardinia.com, select «Gommoni a Noleggio» (Rental Boats), enter the number of people, choose the time and coves to visit, then enter the code you'll be given at check-in in the «Codice Operatore» (Operator Code) field. Payment is made directly through the app. On landing, you'll need to show staff the generated QR Code as proof of booking: without a QR Code, beach access is not permitted.

Deposit & Refund for Beach Landing Booking Booking a beach landing requires a 20% deposit, refundable within 72 hours in case of cancellation or unfavourable weather.

Cash Environmental Fee An additional cash payment of € 5.50 per person is required at departure as an environmental fee, separate from the online beach-landing booking.

Documents Required at Check-in Physical ID card of the driver (a digital copy or photo is not valid). Report to the meeting point at departure time, from 8:30 AM: the box number is given in your booking confirmation.

Umbrella & Cool Bag Available on request at the box office while stocks last, cannot be booked in advance. Cash deposit: € 20 for both, € 10 for one only. Returned on your way back after inspection.

Parking Free on Via Cala Luna, 5–10 min walk from the harbour (Map). From June to September, discounted parking with free shuttle at Loc. Iscrittiore (Map).

Do I need a boating licence to rent a boat in Cala Gonone? No, boats up to 40hp (the 5m and 6m models) require no boating licence. For the 6m 100hp boat, the Marsea and the Clubman 24, a boating licence (within 12 miles, category B) is required.

How much does it cost to rent a boat in Cala Gonone? 2026 rates start from € 160 (5m boat, season opening) up to € 1,000 for the Clubman 24 in high season (August). Fuel is always excluded and paid as you go on return to harbour.

Can I rent the boat with a skipper? Yes, on request and subject to availability, a skipper is available for an extra € 100.00 — useful if you have no experience or prefer to relax without driving.

How long does the boat rental last? The rental lasts 8 hours, from 08:30 to 17:30. Several departure slots are available (8:15, 8:30, 9:00 or from 9:30 onwards), to be communicated when booking.
