The Codula di Luna is the gorge that opens onto the sea at Cala Luna itself. Walking it from the top down to the sea is the gentlest way of reaching the beach on foot: you follow the riverbed between oleanders and limestone walls.
Leave the SS 125 at km 172.100 and follow a narrow paved road for about 10 km, with steep climbs and descents, to Teletottes, where it ends. From here you walk about 10 km along the riverbed inside the gorge, all the way to the beach.
From the Dorgali–Cala Gonone road a dirt track of about 8 km leads towards Cuili Bucchiarta. From there you go down the steep «S'iscala 'e su molente» into the Codula, about 2 km from the beach: the shortest way in, but with a sharp descent.
